We are pleased to offer two very different, high quality livery services here at Skreens Park Farm. Obviously both types offer access to unrivalled local off-road hacking, and our experience and knowledge of equines.

Natural Living
All of Cathy’s horses are competed and worked barefoot, and live as naturally as possible with 24hour turn-out. In summer horses are checked daily and fed as appropriate. In winter hay is provided as necessary. Horses and ponies are clipped and rugged, but as minimally as possible. If you are interested in this livery you must be prepared to remove hind shoes, as our horses live in groups. You will receive support, but not pressure!, if you wish to use natural horsemanship methods of training, competing barefoot etc. This is NOT just grass livery and the cost of £200 pcm reflects this.

Traditional Full Livery
With well over ten years experience of offering full livery services, you can be sure of the best attention at our fully insured, BHS approved yard. Hay, straw and hard feed are provided, as is seven days per week of personal attention (including all year turn-out) on a very small, full livery yard. All staff are BHS qualified and accustomed to dealing with all sizes, ages and standards of equine, from Shetland ponies to competition stallions, unbroken colts to retired horses. Basic full livery costs £380. (woodchip beds are extra) Regular or occasional exercising, tuition and hunter livery can be negotiated.
